Why chicken parm burgers are trending right now
Part of the appeal is familiarity. Chicken Parmesan has long been a family favorite, while burgers remain one of America's go-to comfort foods.
By combining the two, home cooks get a meal that feels both nostalgic and new. Social media has also played a role, with creators sharing easy recipes that promise restaurant-quality results using simple supermarket ingredients.
Unlike some viral food trends that require specialty ingredients, chicken parm burgers can be made with pantry staples including ground chicken, marinara sauce and shredded cheese.
